For nearly two decades I photographed fashion, lifestyle, and brands — capturing stories through faces, movement, and connection.

Working with people taught me how to notice the smallest details — a shift in light, a subtle expression, the quiet moment before something meaningful unfolds. Over time, I realized those same instincts were guiding me outdoors, toward landscapes and open spaces where light and atmosphere tell their own stories.

Anne Phillips Photography in Grand Canyon Sunset selfieI was born and raised in Estonia, a small Northern European country where creativity surrounded me from an early age. I grew up exploring both visual arts — drawing, painting, and photography — and performing arts like ballroom dance and singing.

Before moving to the United States, I spent several years living in Sweden, where I became involved in the fashion world through modeling and creative collaborations that blended design, beauty, and storytelling.

Later I studied marketing, graphic design, and photography at St. Petersburg College in Florida and began building my own creative career path through design and photography.

Anne Phillips Photography - Tampa Bay Fashion Week 2013For many years my camera followed the energy of the fashion world. I photographed runway shows, editorial work, and events including Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and Caribbean Fashion Week, and served for a decade as the lead photographer for Fashion Week Tampa Bay.

Also, my work has appeared in books as well as local and international magazines.

Through all those years of photographing people, one quiet thread was always present — my deep connection to nature. Even while working in fashion studios, city streets, and event venues, I found myself drawn to natural light, open skies, and wild landscapes. Over time that pull grew stronger. Eventually it led me somewhere unexpected: onto the open road.

Anne's Art of Adventure - Subaru Ascent campToday my photography is shaped by movement — traveling in my SUV converted into a mini camper — and the landscapes I encounter along the way. Mountains, coastlines, deserts, forests, and quiet places where light and weather constantly transform the world.

Anne’s Art of Adventure grew out of this journey — a way of sharing the places, moments, and stories I discover while wandering with a camera.

Whether you’re here to explore the landscapes, collect a print, or simply enjoy a quiet moment of beauty, I’m grateful you stopped by.

Thanks for traveling along,
